# Delete your account

Deleting your ProSocial account is immediate and irreversible. It is different
from canceling a membership.

## What deletion does

- You lose access to ProSocial on every device immediately.
- Your ProSocial profile, coaching data, stored files, and active sessions are
  removed through the account-deletion process.
- Future personal subscription renewals are stopped.
- Active human-coaching access ends.
- Historical payment records kept by Stripe are not deleted by this control.
- Deletion does not issue a refund.

## Before deleting

If you only want to stop renewal, [cancel the membership](/account/billing/)
instead.

If you are the only owner of an active coach or organization account with
other members, transfer ownership to an existing administrator first.
ProSocial will not silently promote an ordinary member.

## Delete the account

1. **Open Settings**

   Choose **Menu**, then **Settings**.
2. **Open the danger zone**

   Read the deletion summary and any ownership warning.
3. **Confirm deletion**

   Enter the required confirmation exactly as shown and submit. There is no
   grace period or undo.
