# Connect Telegram

Telegram lets you continue your private conversation with Dale outside the
browser. It is an optional text-only coaching channel with narrower controls
than the full ProSocial app.

## Connect

1. **Start in ProSocial**

   Open **Menu**, choose **Settings**, and select **Connect Telegram**.
2. **Open the private Telegram link**

   ProSocial opens Telegram with a short-lived account-linking code.
3. **Tap Start**

   Complete the link in the private bot conversation. An unlinked Telegram
   identity cannot reach your ProSocial coach.

## Scheduled check-ins

Dale can schedule one Telegram check-in only when you explicitly agree to that
specific topic and time. Connecting Telegram is not permission for recurring
or general outreach.

## Privacy boundaries

Billing, account administration, human-coach management, and formal assessment
work stay in the ProSocial app. Calendar details are never added to Telegram
or saved in your Telegram message history.

## Disconnect

Open **Settings**, find Telegram, and choose **Disconnect**. Disconnecting also
prevents delivery of a pending agreed check-in.
