# Get started

You do not need to configure everything before ProSocial becomes useful. Start
with one real situation: a conversation you are preparing for, a people-skill
question, or a moment you want to understand better.

1. **Open ProSocial**

Go to [v2.tryprosocial.com](https://v2.tryprosocial.com/) and sign in or
   create your account.
2. **Tell Dale what is happening**

Describe the situation in your own words. Include what you want to change,
what feels difficult, and when the conversation will happen.
3. **Choose the next useful action**

Dale may help you think it through, suggest practice, or guide you into a
focused skill pack. You remain in control of what you start.

## The three places to remember

- **Today** is your continuing conversation with Dale.
- **Library** contains skill packs, roleplays, drills, and guided practice.
- **Settings** contains your account, access, connected services, language,
  privacy, and deletion controls.

You can reach all three from **Menu** in the upper-right corner.

## A good first message

You can start naturally:

> I have a difficult conversation with a teammate tomorrow. I need to be clear
> without sounding harsh. Help me prepare.

Dale will ask for the context needed to make the coaching specific. You never
need to learn special commands.
