# Take or continue the PSI

## Before you begin

Choose a time when you can answer without rushing. There are no perfect
answers. Respond based on what is generally true for you, not what you think a
skilled person is supposed to choose.

## Start the PSI

1. **Open the PSI**

   In ProSocial, open **Menu** and choose **People Skills Index**. You can also
   find the PSI pack in **Library**.
2. **Begin with Dale**

   Dale introduces the current step and launches each assessment module when
   it is time.
3. **Answer the assessment items**

   Complete the structured items in the assessment card. Your answers go to
   the assessment service through a protected session created by ProSocial.
4. **Return to Dale**

   After a module finishes, continue in the same conversation for the next
   step and, when ready, your result discussion.

## Pause and return

You can leave and return later. Open **Today** or **Library** to resume the
active PSI pack. Closing your browser does not lose your progress — just come
back and pick up where you left off.

## If the assessment does not load

1. Refresh the page once.
2. Confirm that you are still signed in.
3. Disable ad blockers or privacy extensions for this page, then try again.
4. If the same module still will not open, contact
   [support@tryprosocial.com](mailto:support@tryprosocial.com) and include the
   module name, approximate time, browser, and what you saw. Do not email your
   answers.
