# Use ATS Optimizer

ATS Optimizer is an in-chat Training exercise with Dale. You align resume
language to one job description so applicant tracking systems and human readers
both get a clearer, truthful match.

You work with Dale in chat on **Today**.

## What Dale does

1. Asks for your resume text and the job description.
2. Finds missing keywords, title alignment gaps, and evidence gaps.
3. Rewrites the relevant resume section with truthful keyword alignment.
4. Gives a short match summary you can use while you edit.

Claims stay specific and natural. Dale keeps the rewrite tied to experience you
already have.

## Start ATS Optimizer

1. Open **Menu**, then **Library**.
2. Choose the **Training** filter and start **ATS Optimizer**. You can also ask
   Dale.
3. Paste the resume section and the job posting.
4. Copy Dale’s rewrite into your document and adjust the voice as needed.

While a skill pack is active, finish, pause, or switch the pack before you
start another Library exercise.
