# Use a skill pack

A skill pack is an ordered learning path for one goal. Depending on the pack,
a step may include an explanation, a reflection with Dale, an assessment, a
drill, or a roleplay.

## Start a pack

Open **Menu**, choose **Library**, and select a pack. Packs included with your
current access can start immediately. A pack you do not own shows its purchase
option.

## Follow the current step

Dale exposes the action for the current step and moves the pack forward when
that step is complete. Stick with the current step — ProSocial keeps packs in
order so later practice has the context it needs.

## Switch packs

Starting another owned pack pauses the current one. The paused pack keeps its
saved step. Return to **Library** when you want to switch back.

## Pack purchase or membership

- A **one-time pack purchase** gives you that pack.
- A **ProSocial membership** gives you the complete pack catalog and full
  coaching features while the membership is active.
