Use Cue Mirror

See what your face broadcasts in a live on-device mirror, then optionally send a summary to Dale.

Updated View as Markdown

Cue Mirror is a live camera drill. Your face becomes a mirror that flags what your expression is broadcasting — short microexpressions and longer held looks — while you practice.

Everything runs in your browser. Video stays on your device.

What you practice

After a quick calm-face calibration, Cue Mirror watches for expression flares such as happiness, sadness, anger, fear, surprise, disgust, and contempt.

  • Micro — a flash that lasts about half a second or less
  • Held — an expression that lasts longer

You see the live label, intensity, a short event list, and running counts of micros and flares.

Start Cue Mirror

  1. Open Menu, then Library. Choose the Training filter and start Cue Mirror. You can also ask Dale.
  2. Read Before we begin, then choose I understand and want to turn on my camera.
  3. Choose Start the mirror. Allow camera access when your browser asks.
  4. Hold a relaxed, neutral face while Cue Mirror calibrates (about one second).
  5. Practice with your face in the frame. Choose Finish session when you are done.
  6. Read your Session read — duration, flares, micros, and what showed up most.

Choose Practice again to run another session, or Send to Dale when you want Dale to coach from the summary.

What Dale receives

Send to Dale shares a short text summary only: how long you practiced and how many micros and held flares appeared. Video, frames, and raw scores stay on your device.
